Study for the emancipation of the Indo in India
Tuesday, January 30th, 2007Through the rise of 'free' newspapers in the Indo Dutch East Indies in the colony gets a voice. This non-published background study has been prepared based on extensive literature on the history of the Dutch East Indies and "the" Indo-European. It was undertaken in preparation for the research that resulted in the thesis Tabeh India and contains the history of the VOC to the repatriation in the 50s. With summary of views on the Indo each period and extensive endnotes list.
